Star Wars Cake

Of all the cake requests I get, I was waiting (and hoping and wishing) for the day when I would get to take a crack at a STAR WARS CAKE!! Vader, Yoda...I mean, I only have a mild (not mild) obsession with watching those movies (ten million times).  Needless to say - I was anxious.

And now, it has happened.
The moment has finally arrived.

This red velvet cake was for Stephanie's Engagement party.  By using edible food gel, the backgrounds were painted on to bring this cake alive.
