Simpsons Cake

When I was asked about doing a cake for the upcoming YVR Beer Tweet Up @ The Park, a few ideas ran through my mind...beer, cake, beer....hmmm....

None of the ideas though, were quite as exciting as the idea to make a cake based on the Simpsons episode, where Bart & Lisa drag their Aunt Selma to Duffland, and go on "The Little Land of Duff" ride.

Lisa drinks the water, insanity ensues, and everyone know the classic song that gets stuck in your head for days.

"Duff beer for me, duff beer for you - I'll have a Duff, you have one too!"

One does not simply make a Simpsons cake. If you're going to do it - you have to do it justice...

This cake was not only made of beer and bourbon, but it also played the Duff Beer song on loop for everyone! Lucky them!

*all cake decoration is hand-made, no printers used, and is entirely edible*

On Top of the main cake, it also happened to be the birthday of Jonny & Jamison!

Both of these guys worked so hard to put on a great event, they needed to have their own beerthday cake!! 

And because someone made too much batter, we also threw in 4 dozen "Duff Beer cap" cupcakes!
